Dry Needling is a Technique for the treatment of pain, movement impairments, trigger point. The technique uses a “dry” needle/pin, one without medication/injection. The pins are inserted into the skin into different areas of the muscle. This is acupuncture-like treatment.

What is in the Trigger Point Injections?

Injections typically contains a combination of the following:

– Lidocaine and/or Bupivacaine (local anesthetic)
– Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can also be added to the injection if appropriate.
